Our Role

We aim to increase the proficiency of risk and insurance management in governmental agencies at the state and local levels. We are always looking to develop a broader understanding of risk/insurance management among public officials and governmental managers and enhance the knowledge and skills of individuals who carry out the risk management function in public agencies.

We continue to serve as an educational and research resource for the benefit of governments and political subdivisions thereof, including: governmental agencies; school districts; and special districts throughout Louisiana.
